Chinaplas 2025, a technology-oriented plastics and rubber trade fair, takes place on April 15-18, 2025, in the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an). As a global technology company, W&H develops sustainable flexible packaging through innovative solutions in extrusion, printing and converting and will present these at Chinaplas 2025. The claim “get in the loop” emphasizes this commitment to the circular economy and resource conservation.
At the booth W&H will display solutions for extrusion, printing and converting with the focus on recyclability. One will be the Varex's MDO- PE Barrier solutions, accompanied by samples from various key industry partners. Additionally, in collaboration with partner Exxon Mobil, W&H will present Varex's blown film 5-layer MDO PE, along with Optimex's blown film 100% PCR Collation Shrink. Filmex'’s cast film PP and barrier structures, including MDO technology, will also be highlighted.
Furthermore, W&H will delve into alternative materials, such as paper, in place of traditional plastics. Solvent-free flexo- and gravure printing applications, including barrier applications, will be discussed, alongside concepts for Multiwall Paper Sacks.
Other topics to be explored include paper bag solutions by Garant Maschinen, such as concepts for cross bottom bags or flat and satchel bags, which aim to offer paper alternatives, such as diaper overwraps and e-commerce mailer bags. Aventus will be showcasing Form-Fill- and-Seal (FFS) machines, along with palletizers and stretch hooding technology.
