Inspired by Jules Verne and the celestial bodies they are named after, the paper developers from Tegernsee have created two new collections: Gmund Mother Earth and Gmund Moonlight. These collections embody the contrasts between Earth and Moon in their design, texture, and color – from wild and rugged to elegant and radiant. With their blend of aesthetics and sustainability, they set new standards for high-quality paper products.
Gmund Mother Earth – wild, natural, and free
The colors and textures of the Gmund Mother Earth collection are inspired by the Earth's surfaces. Made from 50% alternative fibers such as grass and agricultural waste, this paper sends a strong message of sustainability. These natural raw fibers are simply shredded without any chemical treatment. Combined with FSC®-certified virgin fiber materials in various colors, this paper makes a significant contribution to the conservation of natural resources. The collection is ideal for companies that want to authentically communicate their environmental efforts – whether through packaging, magazines, or other print products with a distinctive, natural wow effect. Gmund Mother Earth is not only recyclable but also offers customized options for unique brand presentations.
Gmund Moonlight – elegant, classic, and radiant
Gmund Moonlight is perfect for premium but subtle communication, adding a special radiance to any message. A special manufacturing technique gives the paper a velvety softness and texture that is immediately noticeable to the touch. The paper is embossed on both sides while still wet. The collection is available in “Glance” and “Shadow” versions. For the “Glance” variant, Gmund Paper draws on its long-standing expertise in the production of metallic papers, using this advanced technique to make the paper shine. Gmund Paper also prioritizes eco-friendly materials and sustainable production processes in the creation of Gmund Moonlight. The papers are fully recyclable.
